When we decided to bolt a Minn Kota electric onto the bow of our 7.3 metre Bar Crusher boat ‘The Producer’, people gave us a funny look! How can an electric possible be any use on such a big boat?
Well we are happy to report from day one we found out that the big Ulterra with it’s 112 pounds of thrust and super long 72 inch shaft gave us a massive advantage in all sorts of different angling options. The ability to spot lock the big boat, often in breeze and current in water where anchoring is not possible, opened up a whole new world! We use it all the time, far out to sea in water as deep as 600 metres. And the results speak for themselves!
